I currently own three electric guitars and one acoustic guitar. Below you can read a few details about each one and view some of my own images. Please DO NOT use these images for any purpose. Thank you.
Gibson Les Paul Standard:
The colour is described as being "tobacco sunburst" and it's an early 80's model 1983. Installed with a factory fitted Gibson/Kahler tremolo.
The guitar has a 3-piece top, 3-piece neck and a rosewood fretboard. Two stock Gibson humbucker pick-ups with original covers. All parts of this guitar are original. It weighs in at around 10 pounds.
I got this guitar after I saw that it had the tremolo unit fitted to it because Steve had the same trem fitted to some of his Les Paul's. SO having this already fitted to the guitar straight from the factory was a major plus point for me. Gibson only fitted the Kahler tremolos for a short period during the 80's I believe.
Fender Strat Plus:
The colour on this guitar is the traditional sunburst colour. (I like sunburst finishes of all kinds.) and this guitar is a mid-90's model from around 94/95.
It's a USA Strat Plus which is slightly more expensive than the standard Strat and features the Lace Sensor pick-ups. What I love about this guitar is it has the locking tuning pegs which are great. The guitar never goes out of tune! It also has a rosewood fretboard on this one. The rosewood fretboards are said to give the guitar sound/tone more warmth and I think Steve also preferred the rosewood fretboards. His Fender strat (in the Love Bites video) features a rosewood fretboard as well as many of his Les Pauls..

Classical Acoustic Guitar:
I decided I wanted a really nice, well-made, good sounding acoustic guitar that I was going to enjoy playing and opted for this one which is beautifully made in Spain. And it sounds wonderful. I also wanted to learn a bit of classical music as well to give myself a little bit more knowledge in this area as Steve had studied classical guitar when he was younger.
Gibson Firebird V:
I love the look of this guitar. The style and design is so cool! When I heard Steve's guitar on the In The Round In Your Face live video when he played 'Too Late For Love', I was bowled over by the sound and tone of his Firebird. Not to mention his coolness! I knew that one day I wanted to have one of these cool Gibsons and now I do. Colour is Vintage Sunburst with Chrome Hardware.
